West Coast says star midfielder Daniel Kerr is recovering well after injuring his ankle in Saturday's Hall of Fame tribute match.

Kerr left the field in the first quarter after rolling his ankle.

The midfielder is suspended for the Eagles' next two matches but club assistant coach Peter Sumich says Kerr should be fit to play against Collingwood on May 31.

"All positive, they're (the medical staff) saying that if he was playing this week he'd be a chance, so that all stems well for a fortnight's time," he said.
